What is Greenhouse?

The Greenhouse Film Festival is an opportunity to explore the world of film together with like-minded people. We focus on the work of budding filmmakers who are looking for their place in cinematography. Here you will discover inspiration, gain valuable experience, network with other people passionate about film and gain the opportunity to present your work.

What will you find at the Greenhouse?

Film review – presentations of films created by young artists and filmmakers.
Film workshops – an opportunity to learn new skills and deepen your knowledge of the art of filmmaking.
Accompanying events.
Good atmosphere and new contacts.

For whom?

The festival is aimed at young people 15+ and adults from all over Poland:

People who have no filmmaking experience, would like to make films, but don’t know how; looking for people with similar interests.

People who have experience, have made their first productions, but want to develop further under the guidance of professionals.

How to participate?

If you want to show your film at the Festival, read the rules and regulations and send your application by January 20, 2024.
application form Each person qualified for the review will receive a free ticket to the workshops and accompanying events, as well as free accommodation. If you already have a ticket, we will refund you.

If you just want to attend workshops and side events, buy a three-day pass for the festival.

Kup karnet

We are committed to building a film community in the region, so the screenings are free and open to the general public.

Fees:

Until January 6, 2024. – PLN 70 (three-day pass)

From January 7, 2024 to February 15, 2024. – PLN 100 (three-day pass)

After purchasing the pass, within a maximum of 7 days you will receive a return email with a link to sign up for the selected workshops. Messages will be sent on a rolling basis according to the order of payment.

Greenhouse Festival Schedule

March 1 (Friday)

from 16:30 registration of those attending

17:30-18:30 opening of the Festival with film integration

18:30-19:00 intermission

19:00-22:00 opening ceremony and screenings of qualifying films and discussion with authors along with special guest: Ewa Slusarczyk. Admission also open to non-participants in the Festival.

March 2 (Saturday)

10:00-10:30 am morning start-up

10:30-14:30 workshops in three groups:

Marcin Sauter – Fundamentals of cinematography in documentary filmmaking
Ewa Ślusarczyk – DRONES – make films from the air!
Rafał Kołacki – Field recording

14:30-15:30 lunch break

15:30-18:30 screening of shortlisted films and discussion with authors together with special guest: Marcin Sauter. Admission also open to non-participants in the Festival.

18:30-19:00 intermission

19:00 Slope wrappers | Sara Kordowska & Tomasz Lingo | concert. Admission also open to those not participating in the Festival.
