December 13, 5:00 p.m. | Photo of the Year of Pomerania and Kujawy

The end of the year is fast approaching. December is a time for summaries and rankings. On Saturday, you will find out the winners of the Photo of the Year of Pomerania and Kujawy 2025 competition, which we are organizing in cooperation with Toruń Photo Walks. We invite you to the official announcement of the results on December 13 (Saturday) at 5:00 p.m.

The exhibition is a summary of the outdoor walks that took place over the last twelve months in various locations in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Province, including Strzelno, Kruszwica, Bydgoszcz, and several times in Toruń and its surroundings. According to Zbyszek Filipiak, president of the Toruń Photographic Walks association, thousands of photographs were taken during the outdoor sessions. The first selection was made by the authors of the photographs themselves. Approximately 300 frames were submitted to the jury for evaluation. From this collection, the jury, consisting of Julia Marszewska, Joanna Piecyk, and Wojtek Szabelski, selected the Photo of the Year of Pomerania and Kujawy, i.e., the Grand Prix, three distinctions, and selected works for the post-competition exhibition.

The exhibition can be viewed until January 31, 2026.

The organization of the post-competition exhibition “Photo of the Year of Pomerania and Kujawy 2025” and the publication of the calendar “Castles and Palaces of Pomerania and Kujawy 2026” were co-financed from the budget of the Local Government of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province.
