Young Theater Festival

The Young Theater Festival is…

• a wonderful opportunity to experience the spirit of theater and meet people with similar interests,
• an open space for sharing theatrical experiences through conversations, workshops, collaborative artistic activities, and performances, 
• a place where people with diverse experiences and needs can feel at home,
• a time for fun and being in the here and now through theater!

The theme of this year’s Festival is (SENSATION).

Why “feeling”? We believe that emotions and the people who create them are the foundation of every theatrical endeavor. This is evident in this year’s workshops, which focus on working with a partner—including through puppetry—discovering oneself by becoming attuned to one’s body and voice, and empathizing with various emotions. Furthermore, the core values of our Festival are compassion—understanding others—and a sense of safety.
“Feeling” is a universal word that captures what we consider the core value of theatrical work—because it is connected not only to emotions but also to mindfulness toward others and safety.

Who is it for?

We invite everyone who feels that the theater is their place, regardless of their level of experience.

The festival is open to:

• people over the age of 15 (no upper age limit),
• theater instructors, or people who want to learn how to lead theater groups.

The festival is a nationwide event; when you fill out the application form, we will ask you whether you are from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship or another region.
