Kujawy and Pomerania Greenhouse | the jury has selected the films

For three evenings in March, WOAK will be taken over by short films by independent Polish filmmakers. Nearly 80 films were submitted to this year’s edition of the Szklarnia Kujawy i Pomorze National Film Festival. After heated deliberations, the jury consisting of Anna Bielak, screenwriter and script consultant, Łukasz Wudarski, Director of WOAK, and Magdalena Ulejczyk, Director of the Mazovian Institute of Culture and the Mazovian and Warsaw Film Fund, selected 12 titles that we will watch together on the big screen.

On Thursday, March 5, starting at 6:30 p.m.:

• “So It Was Supposed to Be a Birthday Present” directed by Kamil Wójcik (animation),
• “Half Past One” directed by Katarzyna Bogucka (documentary),
• “I Was a Girl Scout Once Too” directed by Olga Malinowska (creative documentary),
• “Replace” directed by Ewelina Duffy (animation).

On Friday, March 6, starting at 6:00 p.m.:

• “Klub” directed by Kamil Śleszyński (documentary film),
• “Zdążyć przed wigilią” directed by Kamil Mrozowski (feature film),
• “Studenckie tango” directed by Mateusz Rzepka (documentary film),
• “Talk to Me” directed by Yulia Tabenska (animation).

On Saturday, March 7, starting at 7:00 p.m.:

• She Cat Him, directed by Marta Chyła-Janicka (animation),
• The Title Will Come to Me in My Dreams, directed by Klaudia Fortuniak (feature film),
• The Kid, directed by Maksymilian Nowicki (feature film),
• “Pieśni Skirona” (Songs of Skiron) directed by Antoni Możdżeń (feature film).
