Where to start? – research on needs and potentials | training

Are you struggling to understand the local community/group you are working with?

Do you know that conducting research in culture is needed, but don’t know how to go about it? Or maybe you don’t believe that conducting research can be useful for anything at all?

Have you conducted, conducted research on your audience/some specific group and don’t know what to do next? Or maybe your research conclusions are slipping away from your practice and observations of everyday life?

These are common questions and concerns I hear. Why conducting research can be useful, how to conduct it yourself, and what to do so that the results are actually useful in practice and do not become just a dry report?

Take part in a training course during which:

you will undertake a reflection on what is important in planning the research process to make it realistically useful for further action,

you will learn what a needs and potentials survey is,

you will learn to prepare the research process on your own so that it supports you in finding out things that are useful for your institution/organization,

you will learn to draw conclusions that will serve you in conscious use of research in planning your offer.

I am a cultural animator and theater educator. For over 10 years I have been creating and implementing activities to support local communities and groups at risk of social exclusion.

I am a trainer. I conduct workshops for people working in the cultural and educational sectors, through which they can strengthen their competencies related to project development, team management, communication, working with groups and creativity.

I am a cultural manager. Since 2022, I have held the position of deputy director for content at the Provincial Center for Cultural Animation in Toruń. As a manager, I manage teams and projects and obtain grant funds.
