National Film Festival “Szklarnia” | Thank you for your films! | Join us for workshops

The submission period for this year’s Szklarnia Film Festival ended in early January. We are about to begin the next stage of preparations. All submitted titles will now be viewed by a jury consisting of: Anna Bielak: screenwriter and script consultant, Łukasz Wudarski: Director of WOAK, and Magdalena Ulejczyk: Director of the Mazovian Institute of Culture and the Mazovian and Warsaw Film Fund. From among nearly a hundred titles, films will be selected that we will watch together on the big screen during the festival. The screenings are scheduled for three evenings: from March 5 to 7. The results of the pre-selection will be announced on January 26, 2026.

At the same time, registration is open for filmmakers and those interested in various aspects of filmmaking. If you want to participate in the workshops, sign up as soon as possible, as there are fewer and fewer places available. The workshops begin on Friday, March 6, and last until Sunday, March 8, 2026.

In addition to film screenings and workshops, this year’s “Szklarnia” program also includes an exhibition of film posters by Mirek Gurzyński, a meeting from the “Road to Debut” series,
with Mateusz Rakowicz as a guest, and an intimate story about a creative crisis with a surprise guest.
