“Culture of Change.” Provincial Program for Empowering People of Culture Fot. Mikołaj Kuras We are changing together with youWe have been listening, talking, and observing what is happening in the cultural scene in our province for a long time. We act by creating and supporting spaces for people of culture. We organize the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Culture Congress, award the Golden Mills – the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Culture Animation Award, invite people to Thursday breakfasts, networking meetings for directors, workshops, group coaching, and restorative meetings. “Culture of Change” is the next step on this path – a new stage, a new chapter in strengthening people of culture. It is more than just a program. It is a great, shared space for change. We build on the experience and relationships we have already built with you, but we look boldly to the future. You, the people of culture, are at the centerYou are the heart of the program. We believe that change begins with people, with all of us. This program was created with you in mind—those who create culture out of necessity and conviction. It is an invitation to create something new—together. We empower peopleWe create space for development: skills, knowledge, reflection. We support readiness for change, a sense of purpose, resilience, and mindfulness towards others. We want you to be able to act consciously, courageously, and with care for yourself and the common good.We build relationshipsCulture is not just about events. It is about relationships: with the team, with the audience, with local governments, institutions, and local communities. That is why we create a place for meetings and cooperation based on trust, voluntariness, and partnership. “Culture of Change” strengthens these foundations and builds a larger, more durable support system around them.Because community is strength. And change is born in conversation. We influence the systemWe know that you work under specific conditions: organizational, financial, political. That is why “Culture of Change” asks important questions: How to talk about culture so that it is heard? How to strengthen it? How to build wise, local cultural policies? We want culture to be visible, taken seriously, and supported by the system, not restricted. “Culture of Change” is not a single action—it is a process that is meant to have a real impact on the conditions in which you operate. We respond to real needsIt can be difficult: fatigue, loneliness, pressure, lack of meaning, tension, too many responsibilities and expectations, and too little support. “Culture of Change” is a response to this situation. It does not always provide ready-made solutions. Sometimes it simply creates space to slow down, think, and talk to others. It is a unique program because it responds to change and works with you, not for you. No judgments. No rush.Who is it for?For all those who create culture out of necessity and conviction: animators, educators, employees of institutions, people from non-governmental organizations, local governments, and grassroots initiatives, those from cities and those from smaller towns.Your position or the number of events you have organized does not matter. What matters is that you care. What can you gain?you will meet people who think and feel similarly, you will pause, listen to others, share what is important, you will gain space for development without judgment or pressure, perhaps you will return to your daily work with new energy, knowledge, and tools. Or maybe just with greater peace of mind…This is just the beginning. It is a process that develops alongside you. It is a support network that can remain in place for the long term. You do not have to be ready. You do not have to be prepared. Not everything has to be perfect. If the time is not right yet, that is okay too.Or maybe you know someone who is waiting for such an invitation? We are continuing and expanding our existing activities. During the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Culture Congress, we will announce our plan for new activities for 2026.Are you curious?
