Golden Mills | Kujawsko-Pomorskie Cultural Animation Awards

Applications for the second edition of the Golden Mills – the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Cultural Animation Awards – are now open.

Golden Mills are new awards given by the Provincial Center for Cultural Animation in four categories:

The purpose of the award is to appreciate people who create or support cultural activities that lead to social change – integrating and involving local communities, including groups/people excluded from socio-cultural life, building dialogue, understanding, etc.

The award consists of:
(a) the Golden Mill statuette
b) a financial award (excluding the category of Patron of Culture).

The award can only be given to persons/entities operating in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region.

The results of the competition will be decided by a 4-member Chapter composed of people representing various cultural circles from across the province.

The competition consists of three stages:
(a) acceptance of applications – until September 12, 2024 at 11:59 pm
b) Selection of up to 4 nominations in each category – until September 30, 2024.
c) Selection of male and female winners in each category and presentation of awards on October 23, 2024 during the 2nd Kuyavian-Pomeranian Cultural Congress.

The award in the category Hope of Cultural Animation is under the Honorary Patronage of the Chairwoman of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Regional Assembly, Elżbieta Piniewska.
