We are doing the 2nd Kuyavian-Pomeranian Cultural Congress!

And once again we want to co-create it with you!

Whether you work in a cultural institution, NGO or are a freelancer_r – you can join the team setting the goals and creating the program of the next edition of the 2nd Kuyavian-Pomeranian Congress of Culture.

In order to make it easier for you to join, we are organizing open meetings in six towns in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region.

At the same time, we are inviting people working in cultural institutions to participate in a survey on how we as WOAK can support you. From the beginning of 2024, we are preparing a program to support people working in cultural institutions in our province. The first stage for developing the program is to diagnose your potentials and development needs in the context of strengthening the staff of cultural institutions. We also want to find out what forms of support are appropriate for you and what are the possibilities for institutions to get involved in the networking process.

We will conduct the research in cooperation with Joanna Suchomska from the Workshop for Sustainable Development and Magdalena Jasinska from the coaching group Like clockwork!

The meetings will be held at six cultural institutions from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and will consist of two parts. You can take part in the entire meeting or choose only one part:

Grudziądz (Theater Cultural Center, 7.03)

Brest Kujawski (Brest Center for Culture and History “Wahadlo”, 13.03)

Brodnica (Brodnica Cultural Center, 20.03)

Bydgoszcz (Rothera Mills Science and Culture Center, 22.03)

Program:

10:00-12:00 – Part I:
Discussion on the objectives and main theme of the 2nd Kuyavian-Pomeranian Cultural Congress;

12:00-12:30 – coffee break (lunch will be provided for those who attend the entire meeting)

12:30-15:00 – Part II:
Research workshop on supporting people working in cultural institutions in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province.

The program of all meetings is analogous, so you only need to attend one of them.

On 27.03 at 11:00 a.m. there will be an online meeting, during which we will summarize all the field meetings defining the goals and the main theme of the 2nd Kuyavian-Pomeranian Cultural Congress. We will share the link with all those who participated in the above-mentioned meetings.

What will the further work on the Congress look like?

We will continue the series of meetings in April and May, working with willing people on the program for the event, which we intend to publish in June. We plan to organize the event itself in October 2024.
