On April 5, punctually at 18:18, we invite you to the memisage – a post-competition exhibition, which will feature memes awarded by the jury. This time the starting point was famous paintings. Do you recognize all the paintings transformed into memes? What would the works of Matejko, Van Gogh or Picasso look like as a meme? And finally, will your work be put on display to enjoy the admiration of the audience gathered at the memisage? Find out for yourselves! As part of the event awaits you: Memisage – opening of the post-competition exhibition of memes “Memisage of One Picture”. Great battle of rhymes – if you like to laugh and have fun with words, present your funny rhymes and light humorous texts on stage. This time Czestochowa rhymes are welcome. A meeting with Maciej Kaczynski – the author of Facecja, a fan site that has been active since 2012, which shows how Facebook discussions and conversations could look like if historical, literary and… well-known characters from works participated in them. And all in very contemporary contexts, often referring to current events. Maciej Kaczynski will talk about how his works are created, what inspires him, whether he has his own imitators, and what in the Internet and meme culture makes him laugh the most. Maciej Kaczynski – co-founder of the Facecje website; he always wanted to write long, sad books, and he deals with comedy: theater improviser, actor, author of screenplays and stage comedies, guitarist and singer of the bands Extra and Black Sky.
