Krzysztof Wysłouch – ‘Where the mint smells’ – an evening of poetic song. During the January edition of Creative Ferment, Krzysztof Wysłouch will present a premiere music programme based on his original arrangements of Polish poetry. The event, which is on the borderline of a concert and performance, will be an entrance into the world of oneiric, sensual imagination, expressed with an original musical language drawn from sung poetry, the singer-songwriter trend and alternative music in the broadest sense.

Krzysztof Wysłouch graduated from Toruń’s music school and is currently studying cultural studies at the Jagiellonian University. In high school he was passionate about instrumentation and collaborated with students and graduates of the First High School as the author of the musical setting for their original performances. He began to create poetic song two years ago, when he took 3rd place in the provincial recitation and vocal competition around the work of K. K. Baczyński in Krakow. As a musician, he constantly cooperates with students of the Kraków AST and is planning to publish his debut volume of poetry. His poems have appeared in the online magazines “Szajn” and “Szpol”.

Creative Ferment is a project thanks to which young artists_students from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship receive support in organising their events – concerts, performances, exhibitions, literary evenings, etc.

Creative Ferment was created to open cultural institutions to debuting artists from the region and to give them a chance to show their art to a wider audience.
It is an opportunity for the young artistic community in the province to get to know each other and to inspire each other.
