Frame. Light. Share! Film workshops with Piotr Niemczewski

The workshops are a comprehensive introduction to building film sets. During the workshops, you will learn how to use film equipment, experience working with a camera and light, and learn how to properly set the exposure in a film.

During the workshops, you will learn techniques used to create atmosphere and build the viewer’s emotions using light. During practical exercises, you will learn the impact of different lighting positions and colors on the mood and atmosphere of a film scene.

The next stage will be the analysis of several scenes from popular films. Together, we will take them apart, trying to guess: how they were made, what lighting techniques were used, and whether special effects, green screen or other film technologies were used. In this way, you will expand your knowledge about various aspects of filmmaking and get to know the behind-the-scenes of film production.

Piotr Niemczewski – Cinematographer, graduate of the New York Film Academy and creator of the YouTube channel “Trip Hunter”, with over 100,000 subscribers.
He studied and gained experience on film sets in Los Angeles, from music videos, commercials, series and B-grade horror films, to Hollywood feature films. Films and music videos of which he is the author have won recognition and awards at many international film festivals. He also received a double nomination in last year’s edition of the Grand Video Awards.
