Gorgon Syndrome | a production by the Nodostage Theater as part of the 30th MFTK

March 6, 2024, downtown Warsaw.
Women take to the streets and scream: “AAAAAAA.”
That scream—wild, painful, unstoppable—became the catalyst.

Four women. Four true stories.
About violence that doesn’t end in a single moment.
About trauma that lives beneath the skin.
About the silence that comes later—and hurts even more.

The legend of Medusa—the Gorgon—served as the starting point.
The myth becomes a mirror.
Violence. Transformation. Severance. Rebirth.

The performance uses the language of sign language, the body, rhythm, and imagery.
So that everyone—regardless of their senses—can feel it.

We are presenting this performance as part of the “Scenes of the Regions” program at the 30th KONTAKT International Theater Festival, organized by the Wilam Horzyca Theater.
