We invite you to a film meeting where we will combine the passion of film with the exploration of urban space. This initiative is addressed to people aged 15 and over who want to explore the secrets of filmmaking and learn various outdoor framing techniques.

During these meetings, we will go for walks around the city, where there are opportunities to record shots at every step. We will learn how to use urban environments, architecture and natural elements to create film sequences.

Together we will share our knowledge of composition, lighting, camera movement and other key aspects of filmmaking. We will learn how to use cameras and smartphones to record videos in a simple and effective way.

You don’t need any previous film experience or professional equipment. All you need is your passion and curiosity about the world around us. Together, we will transform the urban scenery into our own film sets, and each participant will have the opportunity to express their creativity through the lens of a camera.

It is important that each person participating feels at ease during our meetings. That’s why we’re happy to invite people who have their own camera or camcorder to bring it to meetings. This will be a great opportunity to explore the variety of film equipment and learn how to best use your own camera to shoot films.

Grzegorz Kaźmierski – musician, cultural animator, theater and film expert, editor and camera operator. Specialist in cultural animation at the Provincial Cultural Animation Center in Toruń. It conducts film, music and sound workshops for children, teenagers and adults of all ages.
