“Errors & Failures” is an experimental performance piece that explores the synergy between two distinct bodies immersed in an intense interdependence. The project challenges the concept of normality and transports the audience into a liminal space—a place where differences converge, becoming mutual reflections, sources of inspiration, and at times, toxic tension.

Boundaries—physical, psychological, and social—are called into question. They are not obstacles, but raw material. The performers’ movement, tension, and physical presence become a vehicle for their inner states. What happens on stage is not merely movement, but a record of intense psychological experiences.

“Errors & Failures” is an original choreography conceived for a duet between a dancer with a disability and a dancer specializing in butoh.

The starting point for the performance’s concept, as well as the creative and research process, was an exploration of the similarities and differences between bodies—an immersion into spaces of interdependence, difference, and mutual interaction.

Patryk Krause

He doesn’t write much about himself, but he loves talking in person. He’s interested in theater and sports. He participates in Occupational Therapy Workshops on a daily basis. In 2019, Patryk became the World Champion in Race Running at 800 meters. He also set the world record for this distance in the RR1 category. He is also an actor. He has appeared in plays such as “Wklęsły,” “Biegnę,” “Dla nas nie zabraknie krzeseł,” and “PercepcJA.” He believes that theaters should be accessible to artists with disabilities and audiences with disabilities, so that as many people as possible have the chance to fulfill their dreams. He consistently emphasizes that art does not have to be art therapy; it can be a way of life that opens up entirely new possibilities for growth.
