Learn how to act with sensitivity and respect for diversity.

We invite you to a series of workshops entitled “Culturally Sensitive Home,” which will be conducted at WOAK by educators from the Grzybnia Association: Joanna Pankowska and Paula Rudź.

During four meetings, you will learn the principles that will help you create artistic events and cultural projects in your institutions with sensitivity and respect for diversity.

“Cultural centers also shape our perceptions of other parts of the world,” emphasizes Paula Rudź, “they model ways of thinking about other cultures, offering perspectives and narratives that stay with their audiences for a long time. Awareness of global processes, knowledge about the sources of migration, cultural differences, the causes of social inequalities and their effects is today one of the key competences that allow us to understand the dynamics of society and build cultural and artistic education based on the pursuit of diverse perspectives, rather than on stereotypes and prejudices , he adds, explaining the main theme of the workshops.

The workshops are aimed at people working in local government cultural institutions.

Participation in the project is free of charge.
