We are all editors When. March 3, 2024.10:30 am – 2:30 pm We will talk about the role of storytelling in film and in life. Taking specific film examples, we’ll learn about basic editing tools and the abecadal of film rules. Finally, we’ll cover everything with a sprinkling of cinema magic using newly learned tricks on the living fabric of the footage – we’ll look at what can be achieved in an editing program by making informed editing decisions. Sandra Ksepka – Graduate of PWSFTviT in Lodz, currently a doctoral student and lecturer at the same university. She observes, turns in her fingers, tastes, cuts. Without editing she goes crazy. Fine arts brought her to film, further afield – Lodz. She has edited feature films (“Ultima Thule”, “Republic of Children”, “The Glass House”), documentaries (“The Last Knights of the Right”), short feature films and documentaries awarded at numerous festivals in Poland and abroad (“Alice and the Frog”, “Synthol”, “Love Machines”). His work also includes commercials, trailers and music videos.
