The performance “My first space odyssey”.

The performance “My First Space Odyssey” is a multisensory journey through the amazing Cosmos. Children up to 24 months of age are invited to participate.

Children will experience the richness of the universe through the senses of sight, hearing, touch, movement, balance and deep sensation. They will visit a distant galaxy and touch the stars. They will listen to mysterious cosmic music and dance with the aurora borealis. They will walk along the milky way and meet a black hole. They will dance, roll, jump and explore the unknown. There will also be time for a calming rest. No words are used in the performance.

“My First Space Odyssey” is a story about first steps, the extraordinary power of curiosity and the cosmos that permeates us.

What do you need to provide to host the performance?

  • an empty hall with dimensions of at least 5 x 7 meters (7 x 9 meters preferred), at least 2.8 meters high
  • the room must be able to be completely darkened
  • silence is essential during the performance, so it is important that the room is adequately soundproofed or that nothing else is happening during the performance
  • the possibility of arranging a scenic corridor in front of the hall
  • a checkroom (may be makeshift) where spectators will be able to leave things, including phones, and a person who will guard these things for the duration of the performances
  • the hall must be available throughout the day so that we have a quiet time for the assembly

The audience – that is, children and caregivers – can be a maximum of 30 people in total in the case of a full-sized stage, i.e. a space of 7 x 9 meters. In the case of a smaller room, a proportionally smaller number of people will be able to participate in the performance.

We provide all the sound and lighting equipment, as well as scenery elements. One person is needed to help with assembly.

Please wash the floor before entering the hall (or vacuum the carpets) one hour before the performance.
