Duo Sara Kordowska & Lingo is a debut event combining alternative sounds of indie funk and abstract moving image. The Sara Kordowska team will present a unique release of repertoire from their second album entitled “Mothers of Invention.” The event will also carry an audiovisual charge thanks to the VJ of multimedia artist Tomasz Lingo. The artists guarantee a powerful, unconventional meeting of media, sounds and moods.

Sara Kordowska – sings about amstafs and lemon tarts by day. The band plays with Polish alternative, reaching for indie, shoegaze and even hip-hop sounds. For the space and the Toronto meeting, Sara Kordowska will become a trio in the most electronic guise for herself. The material of the latest album “Mothers of Invention” and stray compositions will take you into the world of acid harmonies, delicate together vocals and bass mess Who is Sara Kordowska: Winner of the 2019 Polish Radio Four will be Loud. She writes songs for record label wards, guests with rappers in choruses, conducts songwriting workshops that focus on the text layer. He does sound reports with Tricity musicians and invites them to the Almond program on MORS Radio.

Tomasz Lingo – A 4th year student of the Gravure Printmaking Studio led by Dr. hab Marek Zajka and Dr. Oksana Budny-Kaczor and the Multimedia Studio led by Dr. hab Zdzislaw Mackiewicz, Dr. Jakub Wawrzak and Dr. Jakub Jaszewski. In his work, Tomasz Lingo tries to embody his passion and adoration towards the solid, the beauty of animal and human anatomy or the atmosphere of a dream. In addition to graphic activities, the artist externalizes himself through painting, performance or dance. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and festivals at home and abroad.
