Additional information

The first day of the meeting

(May 14) will take place

from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,

and the second day (May 15)

from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

We invite the directors of cultural institutions in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Province to the next meeting of our network. This is an opportunity to engage in conversation with others facing similar challenges, to enhance your skills, to exchange experiences, and to reflect together on the current needs and future directions of cultural institutions in the region.

Whether you’re already part of the network or just looking to join, everyone is equally welcome. The meeting is open and inclusive, and its goal is to strengthen cooperation and build relationships based on collaborative dialogue.

During the upcoming meeting, we will focus on well-being—both our own as managers and that of our employees. In a cultural world where commitment often borders on exhaustion, we will strengthen our ability to build mental resilience and prevent burnout. Together, we will seek answers to the question of how to manage an institution’s energy, starting with ensuring our own peace of mind as leaders.

Facilitators:

Magda Jasińska – certified trainer, facilitator, and project evaluator. She provides training in interpersonal communication, helps build project teams, and works with diverse audiences. Natalia Sarata – sociologist, cultural studies scholar, anti-burnout trainer, researcher, and a veteran of the non-governmental sector for 25 years. Formerly a social movement activist and organizer, she has been the leader of the RegenerAkcja Foundation for a decade, during which she brought the topic of preventing social activist burnout into the public discourse in Poland. About the series of meetings:

Working in a leadership role often involves facing numerous challenges: an overload of responsibilities, a lack of understanding among staff, pressure from local authorities, a limited budget, and high expectations from the local community. These demands can be conflicting, which may lead to frustration and burnout.

We want to support you in these challenges through regular meetings that will serve as a space for exchanging experiences, gaining new knowledge, and recharging. The program will include group supervision sessions, lectures led by experts, and training workshops.
