Grafika z napisem instytucje w zmianie umieszczonym w środku.

We will invite these teams to participate in the “Institutions in Transition” project

We are extremely pleased that, as part of the “Institutions in Transition” program, we received many valuable and well-thought-out applications from across the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Province.

We were committed to selecting institutions at a critical juncture of change or transition—one that requires pausing, reflection, and conscious planning for future actions. We sought institutions ready to participate in a development process based on reflection, diagnosis, and teamwork. We were committed to involving individuals representing various roles and perspectives within the institutions. We also took into account pilot potential and organizational capabilities, as well as the alignment of motivations with the program’s goals.

A team of five people worked on their evaluation:

  • Agata Andrasiak-Czarnecka,
  • Katarzyna Pągowska,
  • Anna Weistock-Mentel,
  • Agnieszka Zakrzewska
  • Weronika Droszcz.

We are pleased to announce that the following organizations will participate in the pilot program of “Institutions in Transition”:

  • Library – Lubiewo Community Culture and Promotion Center,
  • Chełmno Community Center,
  • Skibin Community Cultural and Library Center,
  • Oś Community Cultural Center.

The first joint activity for the pilot program participants will be a kickoff training session, which will take place on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Provincial Center for Cultural Activities in Toruń, ul.  Kościuszki 75-77. The training will be led by Dr. Maja Dobiasz-Krysiak.

After the training, participants will begin research activities that will last until mid-June. During this phase, WOAK staff participating in the training will provide process support to one institution participating in the pilot program.
