May 16–17 (Saturday–Sunday) | “Crystals of Memory” Festival of Forgotten Cultures

We are delighted to invite you to the third edition of the Festival of Forgotten Cultures, which will take place on May 16 and 17, 2026, under the theme “Crystals of Memory.”

This time, together with our partner institutions—the Chełmża Cultural Center, the Unisław Municipal Cultural Center, and the Unisław Municipal Public Library—we will introduce you to the unique phenomenon of sugar refineries in Kujawy and Pomerania. Each of these facilities had a profound impact on the local community, bringing together creative individuals, cultural organizers, and community activists. The sugar refineries employed many people, thereby fostering communities with immense cultural potential.
