Meeting of the Network of Directors of Cultural Institutions | Górzno

We invite the directors of cultural institutions in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Province to the next meeting of our network. This is an opportunity to engage in conversation with others facing similar challenges, to enhance your skills, to exchange experiences, and to reflect together on the current needs and future directions of cultural institutions in the region.

Whether you’re already part of the network or just looking to join, everyone is equally welcome. The meeting is open and inclusive, and its goal is to strengthen cooperation and build relationships based on partnership and dialogue.

During the upcoming meeting, we will focus on the foundation of every successful initiative—clear and lasting principles of cooperation. Together, we will analyze how to design team and partnership agreements that are not just a dead letter, but real support in daily work—a tool helpful in preventing conflicts, improving communication within the institution, and building partnership-based relationships with external entities.

Facilitator: Agnieszka Drelich-Magdziak – educator, community organizer, streetworker, ceramicist. She has collaborated with numerous social organizations in Poland, France, Brazil, and Peru. She is attuned to the needs of socially and culturally excluded individuals. When writing and
implementing projects, she draws inspiration from conversations with residents.
For many years, she has collaborated with the Municipal Cultural Center and the Municipal Library in Górzno. She worked on developing the concept for “Community Center + Local Initiatives,” the family festival “wJANki” in Górzno, “Cycling Through the Municipality,” “Etno/Searches,” “EtnoMeetings,” and “Close to Górzno.”
Since 2013, she has been involved with “Summer in the Theater”: first as a partner representing the Municipal Cultural Center in Górzno, and later as the concept developer and project coordinator. She is currently part of a group of supporters
who assist teams during project implementation. She is interested in the journey from concept to project realization and in collaborating with various stakeholders involved in the event.

About the series of meetings:

Working in a leadership role often involves facing numerous challenges: an overwhelming workload, a lack of understanding among staff, pressure from local authorities, a limited budget, and high expectations from the local community. These demands can sometimes be conflicting, which may lead to frustration and burnout.

We want to support you in these challenges through regular meetings that will serve as a space for sharing experiences, gaining new knowledge, and recharging. The program will include group supervision sessions, lectures led by experts, and training workshops.
