Development Meetings for People of Culture from the Region

Join the space for conversation, exchange, and collaboration

Meetings of People of Culture is a series of regular, intimate meetings for people involved in culture in the region. They are part of the provincial program Culture of Change, which empowers people of culture—those who create, animate, organize, and support cultural life.

A network of directors of cultural institutions has been operating since March 2025. We are now opening the program more widely, with the first meetings of new groups scheduled for February and March 2026.

Who are the Meetings for?

This is a space for people who want to: talk honestly about challenges in culture, share experiences and practices, seek solutions together, and build long-term relationships and cooperation.

You can join the meetings at any time.

New groups you can join:

Active and experienced animators

The group goes beyond formal hierarchies. We invite experienced and active individuals who initiate change and take responsibility for it, regardless of their position.

First meeting: March 5, 2026, Non-Governmental Organization Incubator, 36 Grudziądzka Street, Chełmno | 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Beginners in culture (up to 3 years of work)

For people starting their professional career in culture. A group offering support, mentoring, and networking opportunities.

First meeting: February 25, Browar B. Cultural Center, 28 Łęgska Street, Włocławek | 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Specialists in Culture – an open door

If your role does not fit into the above groups (e.g., promotion, technology, administration, production, event services), you can select “open door” in the form.
Based on the applications, we will create further groups corresponding to the real needs of the environment.

How do we operate?

We meet at various institutions in the region.
The topics are developed by the participants of the meetings.
A safe, collaborative atmosphere and coordination by WOAK.
