We invite representatives of cultural institutions and nongovernmental organizations from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, as well as artists, to the launch of the new series “European Networking.”

This is a new platform designed to encourage international collaboration, facilitate the search for partners abroad, provide support in securing EU funding, and shed light on European policies and their practical impact on local culture.

The meeting will be held in English, but a conversational level is sufficient—we’re committed to helping you overcome language barriers and showing that you don’t need to speak fluent English to work internationally!

The guest speaker at this event will be Vittorio Bianco, president of the European Network of Cultural Centers. The topic of discussion will be “Local Roots, European Horizons: How to Turn EU Challenges into Concrete Actions by Local Communities?” During the presentations and workshops, we’ll discuss:

  • the green transition in culture and the implementation of eco-friendly practices in everyday life,
  • current topics that are important from the perspective of European grants
  • the potential of international networks and the specific benefits that local entities gain from joining them.

The event will combine a short guest lecture with a question-and-answer (Q&A) session and small-group discussions, providing an ideal opportunity for discussion, the exchange of ideas, and the establishment of initial partnerships.

Vittorio Bianco—chairman of the board of ENCC (European Network of Cultural Centers) and co-coordinator of the multicultural center Cecchi Point – Casa del Quartiere Aurora in Turin. He began his career in environmental organizations, focusing on urban ecology and sustainable development, and later applied this experience to the fields of social integration, culture, and health in an urban context.

About the ENCC: The European Network of Cultural Centres is an international network bringing together over 3,000 cultural centers and institutions across Europe. Its goal is to strengthen the position of local institutions and organizations, facilitate international exchange, and represent the voice of local communities on the European stage.
