The workshop will be led by Adam Mazurkiewicz – an experienced sound engineer with 20 years of experience on stage. He will share his knowledge and practical advice on how to effectively communicate your technical needs and how to understand the technical requirements of others so that every event goes as expected.

Here’s what awaits you:

• A brief introduction to the topic of the technical rider – you will learn what it is and the role it plays in the preparation of musical, vocal or theatrical performances.
• A practical assignment – you will write your technical rider. This is a unique opportunity to try your hand at preparing your own rider.
• Detailed discussion of stage needs – from microphones to stage size requirements. We’ll also cover the terminology used by professionals to leave you in no doubt.
• Building the perfect r ider – we will go through all the necessary elements: from the introduction, to the stage plan, to the verbal description of the requirements. You will learn how to create comprehensive and understandable documents.
• Analysis and feedback – in a relaxed atmosphere, we will look at the riders you have prepared, pointing out strengths and areas for completion.
• Rider Re-editing – with newly acquired knowledge you will improve your document, allowing you to better express your stage needs.

The workshop will end with an exchange of contacts and experiences, giving you a chance to expand your professional network.
