The photo exhibition Portrait of Turkey 1980/1994 is a unique journey into the heart of Turkey. Its author, Grażyna Zielińska, writes about it as follows:

“This photography exhibition is my debut, although I have been using a camera since my student days as a tool for searching for light and composition. Photography, which initially served me in my work as an art conservator for documentation purposes, also became a way of capturing fleeting moments and discovering the magic of light. I have always looked at the world through the eyes of a painter – I recorded scenes and details that later inspired my paintings. Thanks to photography, I was able to create portraits that would have been impossible to capture solely through painting, including a series dedicated to the artist Nimetullakh Gerasim. A special fruit of this practice is “Portrait of Turkey,” which shows the culture and people of that country from a different perspective. Photography has become for me not only a document, but also a tool for memory, contemplation, and creative interpretation of reality.”

Twórczy Ferment (Creative Ferment) is a project that provides support to non-professional artists from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Province in organizing their events, such as concerts, performances, exhibitions, performances, and literary evenings.

Twórczy Ferment was created to open cultural institutions to debuting artists from the region and to give them a chance to show their art to a wider audience. It is an opportunity to get to know each other and inspire the artistic community in the province.
