On a June Sunday afternoon, let yourself be swept away by the greatest Polish and foreign hits performed by the WOAK Vabank Orchestra! You will hear them in modern, surprising arrangements and instrumentation by Waldemar Urbanski.

On June 16 – exactly one year since the first concert of the WOAK Vabank Orchestra – we will invite you on an extraordinary musical journey with hits such as: “White Army,” “I Feel Good,” “Krakowski Spleen,” “Glass Weather,” “Time Machine,” “Life is Life,” “Smoke on the Water,” “Sweet, Nice Life,” “Livin On a Prayer,” “Hi Fi Superstar,” and “Hot Stuff.”

The orchestra will be accompanied by Toronto-based vocalists: Asia Czajkowska, Sylwia Kwasiborska, and vocalist Mateusz Wisniewski. Ryszard Gajewski will play the guitar as a guest, and Bartosz Norkowski will play the drums.

The WOAK Vabank Orchestra has been operating at the Provincial Cultural Animation Center since 2023, when a new artistic ensemble under the baton of Waldemar Urbański was formed from the Brass Orchestra operating at the Provincial Cultural Animation Center and the Vabank Orchestra operating in Aleksandrów Kujawski. Neither the conductor nor the instrumentalists are afraid of musical and image experiments. They surprise everyone when they deliberately break the traditional image of a brass band. Each concert of the ensemble is an avant-garde artistic activity appreciated by the audience and the joy of making music together.

WOAK’s Vabank Orchestra will play for you in the lineup:
