  1. Can people who turn 36 after April 17, 2025 (they are still 35 years old on the application date) apply?

Yes, the age at the time of project submission is important. 


  1. Can only people with a disability certificate participate?

No, people with disabilities who do not have a certificate can also participate.


  1. Is a person with a blind disability eligible for the project? 

Yes.


  1. How do I understand the phrase “person from marginalized groups”, do I have to give the reason for this marginalization?  

By a person belonging to a marginalized group, we mean one who feels discriminated against or excluded from social/artistic life because of his or her membership. We do not create a closed catalog of such groups. In the form, checking the box regarding membership in a marginalized group, please describe what this group is and how this fact affects the person’s artistic development.


  1. Which activities must be carried out on-site, in Torun, and which can take place at any location of your choice? 

We allow the possibility of holding part of the residency outside of Torun, in any place of your choice. The last week should be held at our headquarters to realize the closing show of the residency.


  1. Can the entire month-long residency be carried out outside of Torun (e.g., at the place of study or residence)?

Part of the residency can be held outside of Torun, while the last week should be held at our headquarters for the closing show of the residency.


  1. How to understand the phrase “artist or artist” independent? (Issues of commissions and working in non-artistic roles)

By independent artistic persons we mean those who are not permanently employed (employment contract) in cultural institutions in artistic roles (e.g., as actors).


  1. Is it forbidden to take up permanent employment in an artistic role throughout the project?

No, the declarations are valid only at the time of filing. Subsequent employment will not affect the feasibility of the project.


  1. As part of the residency, do you have to provide your own accommodation?

Yes, they can be paid using the budget for the production of the show. 


  1. If an exam needs to be taken while on-campus (by some person in the art group), can they participate partially online?

Online participation is not possible, however, we allow a 2-day absence of one person from the team during the camp.


  1. How is the amount for the project accounted for and what can it be used for?

The amount is at the disposal of the institution, it is not transferred to the art group. The budget will be implemented according to the cost estimate submitted to the project coordinator. It can include expenses for materials, scenic elements, costumes, remuneration of additional people (e.g. musician for creating a soundtrack) or accommodation during the residency.


  1. In the event of illness or due to a valid reason, can a replacement be found for any person in the art group?

Yes, we allow this possibility in consultation with the project coordinator and with her approval.
