The Most Important Things Happen in Between | Young Theater – Continued 2024–2026 | Exhibition

The exhibition wraps up the “Young Theater – The Sequel” project—an initiative that, over the course of several years, created a space for young people and adults from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship to meet, grow, and engage in creative activities. The project, carried out in the spirit of participatory theater pedagogy, demonstrated that theater can be not only a place where performances are created, but above all a space for building relationships, discovering one’s own potential, and strengthening a sense of agency.

The photographs on display document the most important moments of this shared journey—workshops, rehearsals, performances, the festival, and the day-to-day reality of the creative process. It is a story about people, encounters, and experiences that remain with the participants long after they step off the stage.

The exhibition was prepared in collaboration with the project participants—Jagna Poczwardowska and Agnieszka Włodarczyk—who were responsible for selecting the photographs on display. The exhibition is curated by Nina Marszałek.

A curator-led tour will be held on September 11 from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for those interested.
