My first space odyssey

The ‘My First Space Odyssey’ project is an activity implemented in partnership with Elefantteatret from Stravanger/ Norway.

Its objective is to establish long-term cooperation with Norwegian artists, acquire new competences by artists and animators from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeship in creating theatre workshops and performances for children aged 0-3, and expand the audience of cultural centres in the region to include parents of toddlers.

The study visit and intensive workshops in Norway will result in the production of a series of workshops and a multisensory performance inspired by the cosmos, in view of the year of Nicolaus Copernicus in 2023.

The project will involve 7 partner cultural centres in small towns, sharing the knowledge gained with them and giving them the chance to put innovative methods into practice. The project will also involve the refugee community from Ukraine – mothers with children and artists.

The project is supported by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
