Micro-regeneration. A Development Meeting for People in the Cultural Sector

Before the summer break, we invite you to a Development Meeting for Cultural Professionals focused on micro-regeneration. We won’t be looking for major changes or ready-made solutions. Instead, we’ll focus on the small, everyday, and often overlooked things that truly help us regain energy, catch our breath, and find a sense of balance in our work in the cultural sector.

This meeting stems from conversations with people active in the cultural sector and from the need to seek more sustainable ways of working and collaborating. It is part of the provincial program to empower people in the cultural sector, “Culture of Change.”

During the workshop, we will examine the fatigue, overload, and tension that are often part of everyday life in the cultural sector. We will reflect on what helps us reconnect with ourselves, what provides respite, and what allows us to act with greater calm and mindfulness.

This is a gathering about reconnecting with oneself and finding one’s own ways to regenerate. We will follow what emerges within the group and what the participants need. There will be space for conversation, simple exercises, a moment of movement, breathing, reflection, and simply being together.

The session will be led by Agnieszka Zakrzewska, a theater educator, cultural facilitator, and trainer affiliated with WOAK in Toruń. In her work, she combines creative activities, theater pedagogy, and personal development. She creates safe spaces for connection where one can pause, unleash creativity, and view oneself from a new perspective.

The event is aimed at people working in the cultural sector in various roles and fields. We invite those involved in programming, event organization, communication, production, education, technical support, and the day-to-day operations of cultural institutions and organizations. We believe that bringing together different perspectives helps build a more supportive work environment.
