W jasnym wnętrzu stoi i siedzi kilkanaście kobiet z małymi dziećmi.

Want to prolong the joyful atmosphere of Christmas? Let yourself be carried away by the magic of spending time together with music and singing – which brings people together, gives energy, and opens hearts. On a winter evening in January, we invite you and your children to WOAK for a concert by the Mam Choir conducted by Asia Czajkowska. “Merry Mama” is a time for you – filled with happiness and cheerfulness, with a touch of nostalgia and tranquility that singing brings.

The repertoire includes both traditional carols, such as “Lulajże Jezuniu” and “Pójdźmy wszyscy do stajenki,” as well as well-known contemporary Christmas songs and pastorals hummed by all generations: “Mario czy już wiesz,” “Feliz navidad,” “Pierwsza gwiazda” (The First Star), “Skrzypi wóz” (The Cart Creaks) and many others. During the “Merry Mama” concert, the artists who make up the Moms’ Choir will share their passion with you, and since it will be the beginning of the carnival, you can also expect something explosive that will make your feet want to dance and your hands want to clap!

We are also counting on you – to join us, humming along from the audience!

The Moms Choir has been operating at WOAK for almost three years. Every Thursday, moms who want to sing together and spend time together meet here for morning rehearsals. Starting this season, at the express request of the choir members, one rehearsal a month is also held in the afternoon, so that moms who have returned to work can continue to participate in the choir’s activities. Under the direction of Asia Czajkowska, they practice their voices, learn new repertoire, and prepare for concerts, which are just as important to them as their weekly meetings.

The singing mothers will be accompanied by Bartek Staszkiewicz – keyboardist, pianist, and music producer.

The group is led by Hanna Biegajska.
Host: Asia Czajkowska – singer, songwriter, voice enthusiast, vocal coach, philologist and linguist with over 20 years of experience on stage and 15 years of teaching experience. Scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, as well as her hometown of Toruń. Winner of the 40th International Jazz Vocalists’ Meetings in Zamość and other festivals.
