Łączy nas (Młody) Teatr (We Are Connected by (Young) Theater) – meet people who love theater just like you!

If theater is your passion, if you want to meet other people who share your passion, take part in the December workshops of Łączy nas (Młody) Teatr. This is another in a series of quarterly theater workshops that bring together people who share a common passion.

The workshops are an opportunity to exchange experiences, learn new exercises, inspire each other, and build relationships between people who create or want to create theater in our province. They will also help to nurture and maintain the bonds formed during the September Young Theater Festival.

The program includes individual and group exercises that provide space for fun and development through the discovery and use of the “artistic potential” that lies dormant in each and every one of us.

Development exercises based on theater and acting techniques, under the common slogan: How to take care of yourself?

Thanks to the acting tools they learn, each workshop participant will overcome their stage fright, boost their self-confidence, and develop openness to creativity.

The meeting will be led by Anna Magalska – actress, director, educator, and writer. Since 1994, she has been a member of the artistic team of the Wilam Horzyca Theater in Toruń. In 2007, she was awarded the Wilam statuette, and in 2013, she won first place in the Gazeta Pomorska readers’ poll for the most popular actress of the Wilam Horzyca Theater. Her artistic and social activities were recognized in 2015 by the Mayor of Toruń, who awarded her the title of Man of Culture, and in 2007 she was honored with the Distinguished Service to Polish Culture badge for her achievements.

The workshops are co-led by Agnieszka Włodarczyk, a member of the Young Theater and coordinator of the Young Theater Festival. She studies Art Criticism at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and dances in the Akro Dance Theater ensemble at the Youth Culture Center. She loves theater in all its forms—it is her greatest passion. She has participated in several amateur performances, including abroad in English, and workshops as a leader. Whenever the opportunity arises, she travels to collect adventures and discover other cultures. Creative activities accompany her every day, motivating, inspiring, and helping her fulfill her dreams.

For whom?

The meetings are open both to people who are already members of existing theater groups and to individuals who attend theater workshops or want to start developing in this direction.

We invite people over 15 years of age (no upper age limit) who live, study, or work in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Province.

The workshops are part of the project: “Young Theater – continued.” It is a project co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund – a state special-purpose fund – and from the budget of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province Local Government.
