Additional information

Duration of the meeting: approximately 2 hours

During the November meeting, we will talk about inclusiveness in practice. About how diversity can become a natural part of the everyday functioning of institutions and organizations. We will consider together: what practices truly support inclusion, how to respond to resistance or exclusionary behavior, and what helps to create an environment that is open to the needs of different people.

The guest of the breakfast will be Natalia Konwerska, president of the EMIC Foundation, who will share her experience of supporting migrants. The foundation works to promote a society in which people with experience of migration and refugee status and the host community live in community and openness, utilizing their potential and diversity.

The second expert at the meeting will be Jakub Studziński, coordinator of the “Małopolska. Sensitive Culture” program. The aim of the program is to open up institutions and their cultural offerings to anyone interested. “Małopolska. Sensitive Culture” is a program that seeks to increase the presence of people with diverse needs in cultural institutions.

Thursday Breakfasts are a series of small, informal meetings around a shared table. They provide a space for open dialogue, knowledge exchange, and relationship building. The meetings are aimed at people working in culture in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province who want to discuss the challenges of their work, share experiences, and seek new perspectives.
