The workshop led by Marta Frej will be an opportunity for creative reflection on our inner strength. Participants will express their thoughts by creating collages, inspired by the artist’s works from the series “I am strong because…”. This is a creative space to discover one’s own sources of strength and their artistic interpretation.

About the series “I am strong because…”:

Strength has always fascinated me. I have heard the phrase “strong person” so many times, in so many contexts and situations. I felt that it was good to be a strong person, that most want it, and that the world rewards it.

Just what does it mean? Because it’s not about physical strength after all, at least not exclusively. The #jestemsstrongabo project has brought me a little closer to answering this question. At the workshop, I would like to search together with the participants for the source of strength in ourselves, in the energy of the group and in mutual relations, and describe our search with simple artistic means.

I am strong because I get joy and encouragement from talking and working with other women and I want to share this .
