We would like to invite those who lead workshops/theater groups for an exercise in openness. We will start by opening our heads. We will think about what stereotypes we know about visually impaired people. We’ll think about what we may be afraid of when dealing with them or what issues inhibit us from opening our classes to this audience. We will also think about how we can open up the space.

You will leave the workshop with practical tips that will help you take care of the accessibility of the space, including in places that are far from the ideal of architectural accessibility. We will also talk about opening collaborative spaces. You will learn and practice the principles of assisting the blind. You will try your hand at audiodescription. You will learn what to keep in mind when conducting activities that include people with visual impairments. We will talk about opening our teams. Together we will create a model of a team made up of visually impaired and sighted people. We’ll think about how to take advantage of opportunities and meet challenges to discover the full potential of diversity.

For whom.

For people who run workshops/theater groups in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region and would like to include people with visual impairments.
