Thank you for your nominations for the Golden Mill Awards.

We have completed the first stage of selecting the winners of the third edition of the Golden Mills – Kujawsko-Pomorskie Cultural Animation Awards. We received a total of 68 submissions. We would like to thank you for each and every one of them, as they contain valuable knowledge and create an extraordinary cultural map of our region.

Thanks to you, in October we will award more individuals, institutions, and organizations for whom culture matters. Among the 68 submissions, we received the most – as usual – in the category “Culture Animator – Agnieszka Dąbrowska Award,” with 19 people nominated. In the category “Hope of Cultural Animation” – 7, and in the category “Team” we received 18 proposals. This year, we inaugurated the Golden Mill Award in the category “Cultural Manager.” Here, there were as many as 17 nominations. In the last, but equally important category, “Patron of Culture,” there were seven nominations.

The winners, organizations, and institutions will receive unique Golden Mill statuettes, which this year will be prepared by Nina Marszałek, WOAK graphics specialist.

Your proposals will now be carefully reviewed by the Award Committee, which this year consists of:

• Aneta Jędrzejewska – Deputy Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province,
• Honorata Zielińska-Szuster – Director of the Municipal Cultural Center in Dobrcz,
• Dominik Cieślikiewicz – President of the Ładowarka Foundation
• Łukasz Wudarski – Director of the Provincial Center for Cultural Animation.

Follow our social media, where we will soon be presenting the individuals, organizations, and institutions nominated by the Chapter for the second stage. The winners will be announced during the 3rd Kujawsko-Pomorskie Culture Congress.

The awards in the categories of Animator of the Year and Culture Manager are presented by Piotr Całbecki, Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province.

The award in the category of Hope for Cultural Animation was presented under the honorary patronage of Elżbieta Piniewska, Chairwoman of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Provincial Assembly.
