DKJo! – Peter Bruegel the elder – Landscape with the fall of Icarus

You are cordially invited to the next meeting of the One Picture Discussion Club (DKJo!), which will be held on October 4.

Once again you will have the opportunity to explore the mysteries of a selected painting through conversation and joint analysis.

What you will experience during the DKJo meeting!

• We will talk about one of the most iconic images of art, which always appears in Polish students work books
• We will learn stories, trivia and anecdotes related to the painting
• Together we will discover why the peasant visible in the painting is looking thoughtfully at the sky and what the quail sitting on the branch symbolizes
• we will try to figure out why a mysterious figure is hiding in the bushes.
• You will be able to share your interpretations of this mysterious, and still not fully explained painting

The meeting, in which everyone has the right to speak and the opportunity to interpret the work in question, will be led by art historian Lukasz Wudarski
