Once, quite recently, they lived in our region. A religious quack from Dorposz Szlachecki, the director of the community center from Gostycin, the wife of the mayor from Mala Klonia, the housekeeper of the priest Lewańczyk from Lobdowo. There was also Mrs. Zosia from KGW Sokolowo, Renata – organizer of the life of the Bladowiacy band, Irena – athlete from Mędromierz, and Amelia – groundskeeper conducting lessons for women in the palace. What do they have in common? What kind of web? How were they remembered and recorded in stories true and untrue, which are still repeated by those who knew them. The play “Women Builders” is about memory. It attempts to see from different angles the world of women of great power, who left behind powerful foundations for the development of subsequent generations. They did titanic work every day, building reality, sustaining life, nurturing values. How did they write themselves into our collective consciousness today? With a touch of irony and humor, as well as an invitation to reflection, a game of summoning the spirits takes place on stage.
