They treated and taught how to take care of health. They created cultural centers, village housewives’ circles. They conducted sports activities. They inspired. They gave hope and showed other women that more was possible. It was thanks to them that many a girl believed in herself and realized her dreams. Builders – ordinary-ordinary women living in small towns who sacrificed their lives for their communities, often at the expense of their families and private lives. The play tells specific stories, seeking in their diversity a universal dimension and an answer to the question of our identity.
