WOAK Vabank Orchestra concert WOAK’s Vabank Orchestra is a multi-generational amateur instrumental ensemble that performs throughout the country. Each concert is a unique artistic event. It is much more than light and well played music. It is the joy of playing together. The joy that the musicians share with the audience. The band often joins in unusual and even avant-garde artistic activities. Concert offerings of the WOAK Vabank Orchestra Christmas concert – Polish carols and Christmas songs from various regions of the world, in modern arrangements. (Vocal and instrumental). Carnival concert – carnival hits of world music, works by such composers as Strauss, Offenbach and also such songs as “New York” New York”, “Tico Tico”, “Brasil” (instrumental or vocal-instrumental version). Vabank story – a concert of film music from the most famous films and crime comedies, including: Vabank, Chicago, Ekstradycja, Blues Brothers (vocal and instrumental). 100 years of Polish music – Polish songs from 1920 to 2020. The concert can be a reference, for example, to celebrations, patriotic anniversaries (vocal and instrumental version). Around the world in 80 minutes – a concert of hits from different parts of the world (vocal and instrumental version or instrumental only). Operation Kombinat – a concert with music of the Republic and Grzegorz Ciechowski (vocal and instrumental version). Rock music concert. The repertoire includes the biggest hits, such as: “Glass Weather”, “White Army”, “Smoke On The Water” (vocal and instrumental version). It is possible to prepare a concert for a specific order. For concerts with vocals necessary: sound system for vocalists minimum four auditions 2-3 microphones per vocal – depending on the number of vocalists (Shure SM 58 or Beta, possibly wireless equivalents) delicate sound reinforcement for the orchestra (3 condenser microphones) delicate sound reinforcement for the drums (2 Shure SM57 microphones) microphone for the announcer – Shure SM 58 or Beta a minimum of 2 dynamic microphones for solo instrumentalists, either on tripods or clipped to instruments lighting for the orchestra 230V socket for bass combo approx. 30 chairs dressing room for the orchestra (if possible two separate: men’s and women’s) dressing room for vocalists transportation of the orchestra if the concert is to take place outside of Toruń For instrumental concerts: a minimum of three auditions soft sound system for the orchestra (3 condenser microphones) delicate sounding of percussion (2 Shure SM57 microphones) microphone for the announcer SM 58 or Beta 3 dynamic microphones for solo instrumentalists, either on tripods or clipped to instruments orchestra lighting 230V sockets approx. 30 chairs dressing room for the orchestra (if possible two separate ones for men and women) transportation for the orchestra if the concert is to take place outside Toruń Under suitable acoustic conditions it is possible to conduct concerts – instrumental only – without a sound system. For such concerts, you will only need a microphone for announcements and 230V outlets. It is possible to use microphones and a small sound system for the orchestra. The technical conditions given are indicative and may vary significantly, as they will depend on the size of the hall, the type and size of the stage, the possibility of setting up the orchestra on stage, acoustics, the type of concert. Indeed, completely different technical conditions will be for an outdoor concert, and others for a concert hall or church.
