Young Theater – continued (2024-2026) “Young Theater – Continued” is a project developing the idea of participatory theater education, building an intergenerational community around a common passion – theater. The main goal is to strengthen the social and cultural capital of the community creating amateur theater in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province. Over the course of 3 years, we will engage 850 people – youth, adults and seniors – in hundreds of creative activities and permanently involve people with visual disabilities, as well as those living in small towns with more difficult access to theater education. Over the course of the project, we will run permanent theater groups, implement a series of traveling workshops to small towns and quarterly networking meetings. Participants will create original performances, organize dozens of cultural events and three editions of the Young Theater Festival. The project will be crowned with a publication with good practices co-created by the project participants. The project is co-financed by funds from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Fund for Promotion of Culture – a state purpose fund. The project was subsidized by the budget of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian local government.
