The Invisible Image – a multi-sensory discussion at the District Museum We invite you to the last meeting of the “Invisible Image” series. This time we will meet at the District Museum in Toruń, this Tuesday, October 22, at 11:00 a.m. The discussion will be led by Łukasz Wudarski, art historian, and Artur Bylinski, a self-advocate dedicated to breaking down barriers related to blindness on the Becoming Blind Tutorials channel. In recent weeks, five multisensory art discussions took place in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, which we organized as part of the innovative project “Invisible Painting. Art Discussion Series” funded by the European Network of Cultural Centers as part of the Up Grants 2024 project. During each meeting, participating people learned about the painting using different senses: touch (tiffographs and tactile objects), smell (smells of objects in the painting), taste and hearing (thanks to audiodescription and sound illustration referring to the painting). The meeting in Torun closes the series. Come and find out that visual arts can be explored with all senses!Admission is free, but due to a limited number of seats, please sign up in advance: sign up The organizer of the project is the Provincial Center for Cultural Animation. The partner of the event is the District Museum in Toruń. The project was co-financed by the European Network of Cultural Centers within the framework of the Up Grants 2024 project.
