Tell us herstory

Builders – women of perseverance and commitment. Women who changed their immediate environment. Often forgotten, almost always underestimated. Their activity still remains in the shadows. We want to change that! Therefore, the theme of the second edition of the Festival of Forgotten Cultures is precisely “Women Builders”. We will create a multithreaded artistic story about them, show their achievements and how they changed their environment. We will show “Women Builders” who, with their activity, influenced the development of culture and education, acted in the social and health fields, built local communities of small towns (up to about 10,000 inhabitants) in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province.

Write to us: Let’s bring back their herstories! Herstories, because they will be stories showing the past from the perspective of women. How different from what we find in male historians. During the Festival of Forgotten Cultures, we will show the cultural and social-creative dimension of women’s courage, through which our society is and was built.
