May 24 (Sunday), 4:00 p.m. | Mother’s and Children’s Day with the Moms’ Choir in Toruń | concert

Once again, we’re celebrating Mother’s Day and Children’s Day with music, together with Toruń’s Chór Mam. The group, based at WOAK, invites everyone to a concert whose repertoire will be part a journey through time and part a journey into the future. Thanks to new three-part arrangements, hits from the ’80s and ’90s take on a fresh character. Come hear how they sound performed by the Mam Choir. You’ll hear, among others: “Wszystko się może zdarzyć” by Anita Lipnicka, “Piechotą do lata” by Bajm, “Niewiele Ci mogę dać” by Perfect, “Let It Be” by The Beatles, “Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica, and “Powstanę” in the Polish version by Accantus. The repertoire also includes surprises for the youngest audience members.

The Mam Choir will be led by Asia Czajkowska, the group’s artistic director. Pianist Bartek Staszkiewicz will provide accompaniment.
