November 15 (Saturday), 5:00 p.m. | The Robbers’ Choir | Concert of the Copernicus Men’s Choir If you attend Copernicus Men’s Choir concerts, you surely know that “The Robbers’ Choir” from Giuseppe Verdi’s opera “Ernani” is a signature piece in the ensemble’s repertoire. This time, it’s also the title of the entire concert, which we invite you to the Burghers’ Hall of the Old Town Hall on Saturday, November 15th at 5:00 PM. Admission is free. The concert repertoire will be a tribute to the joy of life, vitality, and love of beauty. Under the direction of Paweł Jan Jankowski, the choristers will perform a recital of popular pieces from various eras and musical cultures. Hits known from Sinatra and Cohen’s performances, along with excerpts from operas, operettas, and musicals, will also feature Italian and Polish songs. Agnieszka Olszewska and Andrzej Kubacki will sing solo parts, accompanied by Robert Matusiak (piano). The concert is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the WOAK, with which the group has been associated for 20 years. The concert will take place in the Municipal Hall of the Old Town Hall.
