National Film Festival “Greenhouse” | February 28-March 2.

Coming this weekend! On Friday, the second edition of the National Film Festival “Greenhouse” starts in Torun! Be with us and see the most interesting short films selected from 117 proposals submitted from various places in Poland. In addition to feature films and documentaries, you will also see productions close to film experiments and sublime animations.

We meet

• on Friday (February 28) at 7:15 p.m. in the Center Cinema at the CCA “Signs of the Times”
• on Saturday (March 1) at 5:30 pm in the WOAK auditorium (Cultural Mill, 75-77 Kosciuszko Street).

Also on Saturday (March 1), we invite you at 8:30 p.m. to WOAK for a meeting with director Pawel Maślona, author of “Blackbird” and “Panic Attack,” among others. The meeting under the motto “Road to Debut” is a very rare opportunity to learn about his earliest films. Pawel Myslona will talk about the beginnings of his career, film school, masters and teachers.

Friday also marks the start of a three-day filmmaking workshop for female filmmakers beginning their artistic journey. Fifty people for whom making films is a passion and a way of telling the world the secrets of various fields of filmmaking. The workshops are led by Alek Pietrzak (Creative Preproduction) , Igor Podgórski (Color Correction from A to Z), Anna Bielak (Writing is a team game) and Filip Pasternak (Cinematographer – practical workshop).

The partner of the National Film Festival “Greenhouse” is the Local Government of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship and also: Centrum Cinema in the Center for Contemporary Art “Signs of the Times” in Toruń, Pers and Studio M6 Foundation.
