Compose a soundtrack for a performance | music workshop

We are looking for people who together want to take on a creative challenge – to compose music for an original performance by the Young Theater group.

The two-week workshop will be full of creative explorations, activating creativity and using both the participants’ individual talents and group energy.

Parallel to these workshops, the Young Theater group will work on its original performance. The result of the music workshop will be the creation of a soundtrack for it – authorial and original, but also in harmony with the emerging performance and its theme.

For whom.

People aged 15-25 interested in musical development and facing the challenge of creating a soundtrack for the play together.

Important! Those who register for the workshop commit to participate fully.

We invite both people who play instruments, sing, experiment or just want to start their adventure with the world of sounds, as well as those interested in creating digital music production.

Presenter:

CEBO – musician, performer and painter, graduate (2005) He moves in the areas of audio installation, using the possibilities of his own voice. Using electronic instrumentation, he creates a kind of sound performance, thus contradicting the “stanza – chorus” convention. He moves in the areas of audio installation and performance, using the possibilities of his own voice. He touches on the problems of space-time in the context of sound as a movement of air that makes communication possible. He provokes and intrigues, as he proved with his participation in the commercial television show Must Be The Music, where he went all the way to the semifinals. Kora Jackowska recognized him as the Elton John of the 21st century. Thus he gained popularity across the country and beyond. In his own words, “he has erected another pillar on which to stand the bridge between the commercial and independent worlds.” He co-created an interdisciplinary project from the borderline of science and art INSTYTUT B61 (where he collaborated with, among others: Katarzyna Groniec, Mariusz Lubomski, the Waglewski brothers (Fisz and Emade) Organek or L.U.C. ).
