Creating doesn’t have to be a solitary journey. If you work in the visual arts, want to develop your creative practice, meet other artists, and learn how to better showcase and grow your artistic career, this project is for you.

Over the course of three months, we’ll meet to share ideas, inspire one another, and develop our art in an atmosphere of openness and collaboration.

We’ve prepared the overall project plan and the topics for each module based on a report from a comprehensive study of individual artists’ needs that we conducted in 2024–2025.

Meeting dates:

  • October 7, 2026
  • October 12, 2026
  • October 19, 2026
  • October 26, 2026
  • November 4, 2026
  • November 16, 2026
  • November 23, 2026
  • November 30, 2026
  • December 2, 2026
  • December 7, 2026
  • December 14, 2026

The meetings will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The project requires regular attendance at the meetings. It is important to us that participants are able to take part in the entire series.

Who is this for:

This project is aimed at adult, non-professional artists working in the visual arts whose primary source of income is not art. We welcome everyone, from those just starting out to those who have been showcasing their work at exhibitions and cultural events for years.

How do I sign up?

Registration is required via the form:

Space is limited.
Places are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
We will notify you by email within 3 business days whether you have been accepted into the program.

Applications for the project are being accepted through September 30, 2026.

As part of the project:

  • you’ll meet artists and cultural managers,
  • you’ll learn how to secure funding from various grant programs,
  • you’ll learn how to present and promote your own work,
  • you’ll take part in portfolio reviews and group discussions with faculty from the Faculty of Arts at Nicolaus Copernicus University,
  • you’ll meet people connected to the local creative community and have the opportunity to make new friends,
  • you’ll visit a local art studio in Grudziądz and the CUD ceramics studio and gallery in Toruń.

If you want to grow, are looking for inspiration, new connections, practical knowledge, and a place where you can hone your skills among people with similar interests—join us!
